We started working with Soccerex in 2010 when they started to use our group registration services for their event and in 2013 IG provided other quality group services and solutions to their business needs, forming a strong partnership to successfully deliver a number of products and services year after year.
Soccerex have been bringing the global football industry together to network in a unique commercial environment for over twenty years around the world. From hosting industry leading networking events across the globe, to their market insight campaigns, they provide a platform to connect businesses with the game's key stakeholders.
In 2013 our group supported the Soccerex European Forum in Manchester after Soccerex had been sourcing a new supplier that could meet their full spectrum of exhibition requirements. Delighted to work with such a prevalent organisation, IG provided a number of group services in 2013 for the event, including our award winning unique and patented FITZiN shell scheme with its unique venue cable tidy system, IG’s feature build, electrics, furniture & carpeting, with design build and graphical services for both Soccerex’s exhibitor and organiser requirements.
One of our highlights from this 2013 event was the VIP Lounge which was sponsored by The FA to mark their 150th anniversary. Soccerex required a special touch to this event area and stepping up to the challenge, we successfully achieved a ‘touch of class’ through our feature build department creating a bespoke, purpose specific lounge to impress their sponsor and all other event attendees. This prompted some incredible feedback from Soccerex’s Operations Manager, Joe Martin:
‘On behalf of everyone at Soccerex, I wanted to pass on my sincerest gratitude to Jonathan and the entire IG team for everything that you did in making the Soccerex European Forum 2013 the best Forum we have produced to date. I really can’t begin to tell you how impressed I was with all aspects of the services received and everything that you produced, considering all of the long hours that must have gone into the production. You really made the event a smooth process for us from start to finish and it was such a pleasure to be working with you all - I am just sorry we didn’t start working with you back in 2010!’
Following the successful delivery of the European Forum in 2013, with the discovery of IG’s unique FITZiN system and the level of service for delivering quality products and services, Soccerex invited IG to supply services for their 2014 Global Convention event which they were bringing to Manchester from Brazil, for the next 4 years. Impressed with the services provided in 2013, Soccerex requested that we provide the same services the following year on a much larger scale with even more feature build requirements for their flagship event.
Soccerex wanted to know how the event could be enhanced in 2015 to create a unique style and brand identity. Subsequently, we proceeded to supply graphic branding for the FITZiN system, using a full colour graphic fascia to the shell scheme itself, which was paired with a specific concept and look to match the brand specification. This bespoke concept has been a success year on year, with exhibitors commenting on the high quality of our award winning unique 21st century FITZiN shell scheme system. In conjunction with a unique event branding requirement, Soccerex wanted to push the boat out on their feature areas to create a high end look and finish to these.
IG created a bespoke modular feature design concept, which gave both flexibility in use and design and a running theme across all features supplied to the event. Working with Soccerex, our team agreed to make the necessary investment required to achieve this, with the knowledge that this system could be used for the following 3 years. This bespoke feature build system also allowed for high end finish, utilising built in LED lighting, to create and maximize on that extra WOW factor required to impress their delegates and visitors, year on year.
