SME are an innovative events company based in London, specialising in high-profile shows within the trade and consumer market sectors staging prominent events across the globe including; London Fashion Week, Sydney Contemporary, BBC Countryfile Live and Art Central Hong Kong.

IG started working with Single Market Events (SME) in 2013 after Tim Etchells acquired the Designer Wedding Show, a failing bridal event at that time. SME were able to launch Brides at the Battersea's Evolution venue, which is now one of the leading Bridal events held in the UK.    

SME wanted to totally reshape and rebrand the luxury Designer Wedding event from its previous owners and we were delighted to be able to be asked to retain their involvement in SME’s new Bridal event with their exhibition services.  After discussions with the SME team, the proposal was to create a high-end wedding event with a traditional look and feel.  We were able to assist and offer a further touch of class by including a full printed graphic fascia to our unique FITZiN system with the inclusion of a clad shell scheme. This was highly preferable for SME and much more suitable than other clad shell schemes provided by other suppliers.  This new look and high-quality finish to the event went down well with SME, their exhibitors and the visitors attending the event, with noticeable improvements. The high-quality standard of the shell scheme and the unique benefits of using our FITZiN system were commented on and praised.  We were also able to retain and supply all the exhibitor electrical and furniture service requirements, with high end designer furniture supplied to the event too.     

After the successes of how IG had assisted SME with the launch of Brides, IG were then asked to look at assisting SME with some of their other UK events.   

To date IG has provided similar services to the PUB, Independent Hotel Show, the Doctor Who festival and in 2016 SME launched Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace.  We have been able to continue and move forward with this great working relationship with SME which started 3 years ago, continuing to grow from strength to strength.
